PR activity was implemented to cement their reputation as a leading authority within the e-commerce sector, boost the personal profile of founder Andrew Banks and gain industry-wide recognition via award entries.
The activity aimed to firmly build on Venture Forge’s positioning as a leading, results-driven Amazon agency for high-growth businesses, offering a unique blend of experience, insight, and energy.
A strategic PR campaign was activated centering around proactive and reactive media relations, SEO-driven blog content and award entries.
We adopted a blend of traditional media relations, drafting and issuing press releases based on business news and updates, reacting, and commenting on the news agenda, creating thought leadership content for trade, specialist and business media for both Venture Forge and Andrew. We were able to generate regional and national print and digital PR coverage, across sectors including retail, manufacturing and marketing media.
Additionally, to help improve the SEO rankings of the agency, blogs were delivered on a range of industry-related topics and around business news and developments. The blogs were SEO-optimised with keywords to have a positive impact on Google rankings.
Utilising our extensive knowledge of different types of awards, we researched and drafted award-winning entries for several industry-leading award programmes on behalf of Venture Forge and individual team members.
We took complete ownership of writing the award entries from scratch, researching, and liaising with Venture Forge to produce the entries, ensuring it meets the necessary submission criteria. The awards were clearly presented and effectively highlighted the key achievements of the agency.

Over this period, we generated a total PR coverage reach of 874,635, 39 pieces of coverage, 28 SEO-optimised blogs and wrote eight award entries which secured five wins.
Vertical, regional, and business media coverage was secured in titles such as Business Insider, Retail Gazette, Prolific North and the Halifax Courier.
