The winners of the inaugural Mid Yorkshire Chamber Business Awards have been announced. 

The Awards, organised by the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Business, celebrate innovation, resilience and true Yorkshire grit within its membership.  

The judges selected the winners based on their resilience, dedication and creativity, demonstrated by nominees despite the challenging year experienced by many due to the Covid-19 pandemic and challenges associated with the Brexit transition.

The winners were celebrated at an exclusive event, held at The Quarry in Wakefield, which the Chamber hopes will be the first of many.  

Managing director of the Chamber, Martin Hathaway, said: “I am delighted to celebrate our members and hope that this is the first of many annual awards where we can truly showcase the best and brightest businesses in our region.  

“I would like to extend my thanks to all those involved with organising the awards, from the team at The Quarry through to our judges – this would not have been possible without their input.  

“We are looking forward to the 2023 awards and hope to expand our programme in the coming years to highlight the Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield regions as the places to do business in the UK.”
