Power consultants and energy management company N-ERGY has expanded its team and moved to a new larger office following a significant recent client win, as it continues to grow and support the power generation market.

The recent growth is attributed to an increase in activity in the servicing and maintenance of gas engine reciprocating generators, and their recent appointment to design, engineer, project manage and deliver 160MW of Short-Term Operating Reserve (STOR) for a UK based developer.

Founded in 2014, N-ERGY is emerging as a global leader in the power consultancy and energy management market, working with companies in the UK as well as overseas.

Based in Wetherby, the business has moved across town and trebled its office footprint by establishing a new 1,200sqm base, while making significant additions to its dedicated team of experts.

Mark Pollard and Mark Roberts have joined N-ERGY as project managers. Pollard arrives with experience of developing and managing STOR projects, while Roberts previously worked in the renewables market, specialising in solar energy, HV networks and electrical contracting.

The pair are joined by Sarah Wilson, who has joined business as commercial manager, who will manage the contractual and commercial aspects of the business, and Samantha Booker as Health and Safety manager.

David Bowman, managing director of N-ERGY, said: “The energy sector is growing, particularly in the generation sector for the capacity market and we’re the leading provider of solutions in this field.

“Building our team with the right people, and expanding our overall operation, is a part of our strategy to become leading consultants across the power gen sector. We expect further growth throughout the rest of 2018.”

N-ERGY is a specialist provider of services to the power generation sector, covering Power Solutions and Maintenance Solutions from servicing, maintenance and repair services.
