This year we will once again be supporting the annual Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch (KACCL) by taking a table at the event.

In addition to this, the team have collectively delivered over many hours of pro bono work to promote the event in the local media and created a substantial amount of the marketing collateral for the charitable event.

Our founder and managing director Stef, also sits on the committee which has been busy planning this year’s event since January. She was part of the founding group of people who formed KACCL in 2016 to raise money for local charities on behalf of the business community, which last year raised £18,000 for Forget Me Not’s Children’s Hospice.

This year, the committee hopes to raise a whopping £24,000 to be split between the Children’s Hospice and a new beneficiary; Orange Box, a community centre for young people in Halifax.

Tickets have now sold out for this year’s event, with 268 places taken, an 11% increase on last year’s capacity.

Stef will be attending alongside other members of the KACCL committee, including Chadwick Lawrence, Crowthers Accountants and JR Group UK.

Entertainment for the event includes Halifax born Callum Butterworth, who began using services at Orange Box when it opened four years ago. It will be the 16-year-old’s first public performance showcasing his singing talent, alongside a youth choir put together by Orange Box, who will also be entertaining audiences on the day.

The Christmas lunch will be held on Thursday 7th December at The Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, kicking off with a drinks reception at 11:30am, a three course meal from 12.00pm and lots of entertainment!

We’re proud to be part of this brilliant event and to be able to provide support to our local community.
