The Brief

A newly established recruitment agency specialising in finding roles for candidates in the construction, manufacturing and facilities management sectors, Cornerstone Technical Solutions tasked Faith with building their web presence. This included the construction of a market-leading website that showcases their brand, articulates their services and values, and is simple to manage at client-side. It must deliver tangible results in terms of SEO, ensuring maximum visibility in Google search results. We were also asked to develop dedicated social media channels, a suite of assets and an ongoing schedule of content that helped grow their presence and get more pairs of eyes on the business.

 

Approach

We designed and developed a website from the ground up, completing the build in WordPress and utilising a rage of advanced plug-ins to deliver a slick product that was simple to navigate for the user, and straightforward to maintain and manage. We built on the business’s existing visual identity to construct a strong over-arching brand that could be utilised throughout the website, on social channels and in other digital stationery, such as email signatures. We conducted a keyword analysis and created a plan for populating the website with SEO-optimised content, and for posting new vacancies and key business messages across the business’s social media channels. We also proactively engaged with other social media channels and users to build the business’s online following. This ensured a steady stream of output that built brand visibility and drove relevant traffic to the website.

Results

Inside the first year, working from brand new channels for a new business, we built the brand’s social media footprint to an aggregate social media following of more than 2,000 people and businesses. This was achieved purely organically, and without any additional paid advertising budget. In the same timescale, more than 500 job applications were generated through the website, with the number of submission growing significantly with each passing month. Through our considered SEO approach to blogging and website content, we delivered continuous growth in terms of visibility in Google search results. This included 2.5k impressions on Google in the first six months, and of 610% over the course of the six months that followed. Our comprehensive approach, delivered on a small retainer budget, delivered clear and tangible results that got more people engaging with a new business.
